What is Clicker Heroes?

Clicker Heroes is a popular idle clicker game developed by Playsaurus and released in July 2014. The core gameplay revolves around clicking and hiring heroes to strike down all the monsters in different zones.

The game includes more than 1000 zones in total, each with increasingly tougher beasts to defeat. Without assistance from heroes, who automatically deal damage for you, it seems impossible to progress through zones, defeat bosses, and get stronger. Hiring and upgrading them is a must to increase their DPS and take down any enemies you encounter.

How to play Clicker Heroes

Defeat monsters and go through the game’s different zones by clicking or using your heroes’ DPS. That’s your major goal in this idle clicker game.

Start by clicking on monsters. You start the game with nothing other than your own power to defeat the beasts. Simply click on a few of the first monsters to beat them and earn your initial earnings.

Hire your first hero with gold. Once you have enough coins, it’s time to hire heroes; they deal automatic DPS (damage per second), so you don’t have to click constantly to eliminate the monsters and collect gold.

Keep investing in stronger heroes. The more monsters you defeat, the more coins you will receive. Use those earned coins to upgrade current heroes to boost their damage and hire new ones to get even stronger, ready to face more powerful enemies ahead.

Defeat boss monsters. Every 5th level or zone is a boss fight with a 30-second time limit. The bosses have extra HP, and beating them is always the most challenging part of the game, which requires significant DPS power to complete. Remember, you can’t unlock the next zone without defeating the bosses.

Explore new zones. By defeating all monsters in each one and winning the boss fights, you go to the higher zones with much tougher enemies.
